Hi Angie! I know what you mean, its hard to stick to the recommendations. In the education section on the app under food, theres a breakdown of the food groups and the recommended daily servings for each. When I first started out I kept a notebook that listed how many serves of each i was supposed to eat and I would just plan out my meals for the day to fit around that and mark them off as I go.
Milk and alternatives 2.5
Lean meat, fish, poultry etc, 2.5
Healthy fats 2
She also puts examples of what a serving is in each of these food groups, like 1 slice of bread or 30g of muesli is a serving of grains etc. Maybe break down your go to meals and see how they measure up then make changes based on whats missing or needs to be added?
